It's a snug little place on the top of the bar, like you're eating in the attic, but of course bigger than your normal attic size!
We arrived for 9pm and didn't leave the place til a quarter past midnightish so yeah it was a pretty long meal.
Food description in T's words: Pub grub that's rustic and posh.
T's menu: broth and lamb
Mr. C's menu: soup of the day and chicken
Broth was very tasty, but too salty though. Had nice small chunks of veg and beef in it. The guinness bread it was served with was really good too, especially when it was spread with real butta! And the lamb shank which was served with champ was very big! So big it was unfinishable.
And for dessert we had this amazing lemon cheesecake from Fother Gills in Rathmines, it was so good the next day I had to Google it for future reference. It was so light, real fluffy and the biscuit base was nicely sweet and crunchy. I would give it a high five! Soooooooooo good.
There was so much food left over the two babies had a treat waiting them that night. Their only little meal!
So good, waiting ever so patiently :P
