Sushi craving, dragon rolls and JP (jap mayo)! Thinking about it now makes me hungry!! Nothing beats the dragon rolls in Akasaka but Yamamori comes close behind.
The menu in Yamamori Sushi used to be pretty good, had a great selection but this time when we went the menu had been halved in size? Many fav sukiyaki wasn't on the menu. Didn't let that spoil my jap night though. :)
Delicious aubergine and pork deep fried in a crispy light batter served with some light sweet soya chili dip
Haven't a clue with the name of this is, but it's beef served with lettuce, rice and some hot pepper sauce!
Portion of udon noodles
And lastly how could I not order my dragon rolls! Well slightly different here, had the tempura prawn, but it came with asparagus!
And to finish... dessert!! Was happily happily happily happy with the choice!! We decided to share something, but so over full from the main meal, I was leaning towards the green tea and red bean swiss roll, but from last time's experience in Koh of ordering the bad dessert, I decided to go for Mr. C's foul proof dessert- selection of ice creams!! To both our surprises one of the ice creams was coffee!! Our favourite ever since that Korean BBQ buffet in HK where we went back again just for the coffee ice cream!! We've never had coffee ice cream again since that day, bar the Haagen Daaz baileys flavour, which ain't the same. Other flavours were mango sorbet, amazing too and dark choco- wasn't mad about it but the other two flavours totally made it yummy yummy!!
